Friday, 26 April - Arrive London; City Tour; Welcome Dinner (D)
The tour begins in the lobby of the hotel at 12:30pm where we will make introductions before seeing the sights of London today. Upon return to the hotel we will get together for dinner this evening. Our home in London is the 4 star Hilton Olympia Hotel next to the Olympia Exhibition Center at the end of Kensington High Street.

Saturday, 27 April - Westminster Abbey; British Museum (B, High Tea)
The 1,000 year old Westminster Abbey is a living pageant of British history showcasing a treasure house of paintings, stained glass, pavements, textiles and other artifacts. There are a total of 4 gardens with the Abbey, each with a separate function. Benedictine monks first came to this site in the middle of the tenth century, establishing a tradition of daily worship which continues to this day. Britain's monarchs and other distinguished individuals have been laid to rest here since the 11th century.
In the afternoon we will visit the British Museum. The Museum was founded in 1753, the first national public museum in the world. The original collection of the Museum included antiquities, coins and medals, natural history specimens and a large library collection. It now comprises over 8 million objects spanning the history of the world's cultures: from the stone tools of early man to twentieth century prints. Later we have afternoon tea at Montague on the Gardens as a perfect way to end our day.

Sunday, 28 April - Windsor Castle; Free Time (B)
We will travel through the English countryside to Windsor Castle, home of the British royal family for over 900 years. It has long been a Royal Residence and is now the Queen's favourite weekend retreat! St George's Chapel was the venue for the Royal Wedding of Prince Edward and Sophie Rhys-Jones. You can also visit the magnificent State Rooms and the newly restored St George's Hall. After returning to London the remainder of the day is yours to do as you wish.

Monday, 29 April – Free Day in London (B)
After breakfast your WTT tour leader will be available to make suggestions for your day. You may want to visit Buckingham Palace and see the changing of the guards. Do some shopping, sightseeing, museum hopping, theater, or markets. The WTT tour leader will have a sightseeing itinerary if you wish to spend the day with her. This evening would be a good time to see a play if you are interested.

Tuesday, 30 April - Eurostar Train to Paris; Free Time; Evening Seine River cruise (B)
We are up early to catch the Euro Star train to Paris. This 2 1/2 hour train trip will go under the English Channel and emerge in the France countryside before ending in Paris. After arriving in Paris we will be picked up at the rail station by coach and taken to our hotel. Our home in Paris is the lovely 4 star Mercure Paris Center Tour Eiffel Hotel. It is located near the Eiffel Tower and the Paris metro. Enjoy your afternoon exploring.
This evening we will see Paris from the Seine River. There are many historic landmarks lining the Seine including many splendid bridges which span the river, some of them several centuries old and designated as Historical Heritage sites in their own right. A night-time cruise is perhaps the most stunning: the boats have huge floodlights illuminating the riverside monuments.

Wednesday, 1 May - Guided City Tour; Visit to Versailles (B)
Our day begins with a tour of the famous sights in Paris, regarded as one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Later we we will visit The Palace of Versailles, also known as The Château de Versailles. It is one of the most beautiful achievements of 18th-century French art. Featuring the the Hall of Mirrors, the King’s Grand Apartments and the Museum of the History of France, Versailles was the seat of power until 1789. It is not only known for the famous palace and gardens but has been the scene of several historic events, not the least of which was the signing of the Peace Treaty between Germany and the Allies that brought the First World War officially to an end.

Thursday, 2 May - Tour of Louvre; Lunch at Eiffel Tower; Free Time; (B,L)
A tour of the Louvre, originally a Royal palace, will introduce us to the museum’s most famous works. It is one of the world's largest museums, the most visited art museum in the world and a historic monument. Next, we will enjoy lunch at another famous place in Paris – the Eiffel Tower. After the lunch, the rest of the day is at leisure.

Friday, 3 May - Free day in Paris; Farewell Dinner (B,D)
The WTT tour leader will be in the hotel lobby to offer suggestions on how to best use your day in Paris. She will have a sightseeing itinerary if you wish to spend the day with her. This would be a great opportunity for you to visit places in Paris you’ve always wanted to see.  We will end our adventure with a farewell dinner tonight. 

Saturday, 4 May – Return Home from Paris (B)
Depending on when your flight departs, you may have time for a last walk around the city. The WTT tour leader will assist in coordinating transfers to the airport.
